I've noticed several submissions with separate HQ map JPGs/PNGs submitted. Is that allowed, and does it count towards the 8 pages?

I uploaded the map separately to make it more convenient for people to print. Keep in mind, however, that the same map is also in my PDF, which is 8 pages in total. So, my guess is, it counts if you don't have it in your PDF. 

I uploaded the maps separately (for folks wanting to use in VTT) and as an appendix in the game. I took the brief to mean actual game length of 8 pages. Also mine is A5 format so I’ll take 2 A5 = 1 A4. :)

I was also unsure about this, but elected not to include a VTT version in case it did count. Would add one if allowed.

Well, now you made me doubt my decisions haha. I deleted the separate maps. But I will upload them once the game jam is over. Maybe I also do a printer-friendly version too!
