Reminds me of my boss before who would want web assets moved by a few pixels for the task to be marked as completed. So this game has a love-hate relationship. :D

Very unique concept and I really enjoyed the challenge of getting to the middle.

But maybe there needs to be an indicator of where the "middle" is. Maybe it's a part of the challenge but I think without a clear visible goal, there will be a lot of confusion on where it is when playing the game.

Great concept formulated from the theme. Title and description fit in that gives the user to play the game without further instructions.

I enjoyed it and totally made me think continuously while pressing my keys! Although I got confused on where is the middle part and I think my two sprites already met but haven't got the successful message.

Excellent interpretation of the theme. It's also nice how each level includes a new/different game mechanic and introduces them using the help text on top. The level with portals was kinda fun, btw. Although I haven't been able to progress past that.

It was rather challenging though because it seems like the two sprites and the designated "middle" need to be in pixel-perfect alignment. I've had the two meet several times but they can't progress to the next level because the point where they're meeting is, I imagine, "not middle enough".

It was also quite unforgiving! I think the next logical addition to this game is to allow failing players to only redo the current level, instead of having to git gud and starting all over again.

Hope to see you in future game jams ^_^

Great adherence to the theme - I've actually had this idea myself (but I ended up choosing another idea which turned out to be not possible [haha] so I resorted to a 3rd idea)! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you wanted to capture the style of a game called "VVVVVV"? If that's what you were going for, great job I recognized it! Also, good job on creating several levels - each one with its own unique quirk!

Some suggestions:

* Try to add indicators (or some more hints if you don't want it too obvious) on what the "middle" is in the first level. I thought it was square on a cell but it turned out to be between 2 cells.

* Add checkpoints! Some of the levels require some trial and error and you don't want a penalty of going back all the way to the start if your guess was wrong.

* I know the main character you are controlling is the one with the smiley face but it may not be easily understood by other players. You can add a small hint about that.

Great job and congratulations, you have passed the TIC-80 course!
