Hardcore game! It would be great if the screen would scroll further ahead of the player because obstacles pop up much too late to react.

what a challenging game and looks great. This game runs really smooth and controls are great, I thinks it's what really made the gameplay very enjoyable.

It felt really scary being chased down from a sea of spaghetti xD

For real though, it's a neat game, pretty bare bones though. Also not having enough screen ahead of you made me guess each time I had to jump.

Yeah I really should've zoomed out the camera. Thanks for the feedback! I think it's okay for being made in an hour though. Not really though.

I like the aesthetic! a bit hard to see what's coming when the camera lags so far behind the player tho

Good job bro! You did really good for making it in under a hour! The camera is a little bit zoomed in and the player can go faster than the camera lol, but other than that you did a great job!

Getting chased really improves the focus on making the right timing, with a background music it'll be more thrilling for sure. Great work!

yeah… Maybe if I had another hour I could’ve threw some music together lol

Had to try this out as it features ninja :)
Didn't make it to the end yet but it feels like lava that's chasing you works as a time limiter - meaning everyone who accually make it to the and will have very similar times.
In a way I feel this is almost more like a rythm game (like geomerty dash) where one mistake will mean reset almost always. All what's missing is music :)

Developer

Yeah that’s true. Honestly I was in the rush of making it in an hour so my brain probably attached more to the speed aspect rather than the speedrun part. 😅

Cool gameplay!!

Nice! I liked your game. One thing is that it is not related to the topic of the jam
