Fun game and challenging. I quite liked the visuals and the background music but the jumping sound effect felt too loud and too high pitch imo. I would prefer the camera tracked the player as it was quite difficult to see what to expect on the next area when jumping to it. very impressive in such a short time

I got the highscore! Fun game but very steep learning curve. I really liked the idea of the red and blue blocks! The wall jumping is really nice. And I like that it was pretty much a puzzle + platformer game. Like the jump in the end I was a bit confused how to do it. But realized I could stay on the wall for a bit longer and wait for the block to respawn. Felt really nice to finally beat it! And once I beat it, I felt like I could start speedrunning finally and then finally got the highscore! I liked how you have a tutorial in the menu as well so you can play around and learn before you start. Great game well done!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Woo nice game! some really neat ideas in there. Glad I pushed through to the end. I'd say the theme could have a been integrated a bit stronger. But i didn't care when playing it, good fun!

Developer

Thanks! Congrats on making it to the end!

Precision rage platformers need responsive controls to feel fair and this unfortunately didn't have those. Especially the wall jumps need coyote time and jump buffering to feel responsive. But I liked the general idea and visual style of the game. It was also a nice touch to add tutorial within the main menu. Good work overall.

Thanks for the feedback! Will try implementing it for sure.
These tips should also come in handy if I ever decide to make another platformer :)

Really nice overall experience. The practice screen before starting is a fantastic addition too.

Very simplistic art and you made it totally work! Nice game, could benefit from some camera improvement but other than that it's very solid!

great style and great mechanics. It's quite a challenging start, so as also mentioned here perhaps a much easier start, but then this would depend on your target audience as well.

Loved the cute box animation when you are wall jumping. The sound and music were great. Fun and difficult. My only 2 cents are that it could of used with a slightly easier beginning stage for learning, and didn't really hit the theme. I enjoyed it nonetheless !

This is really fun to play. The only slight negative is that the theme is somewhat irrelevant to the gameplay mechanic, but, on the whole, a strong entry! Edit: nearly forgot: I love the 'practice' screen before you start the game - I must think about doing that sort of thing myself

Pretty addictive and challenging :) I feel that traversing up from one screen to the next can be a bit frustrating because you can't see the platforms on the next screen. Maybe making the game scroll up would make it less punishing? Also I love the blocky aesthetic.

I think jumping from one screen to the next gives more sense of progression. If there is not enough indication of how the next jump should be made thats on me.

Also there few "hidden" shortcuts that would be made too obvious if camera was scrolling :)

Thanks for feedback!
