Very original gameplay and controls! feels like an original Bennett Foddy game,

It's pretty refined. I might suggest having to press the key twice to toggle if it's up or down in the water. Or reduce the back force you get from pushing the paddles forward. Otherwise it's pretty well designed and cohesive. Nice job! 

The controls feel pretty painful imo (not completely in a foddian way, just a bit unfun at some points). Maybe not just the keybinds themselves, you can get somewhat used to them; I feel it's the fact that the game lets you paddle backwards (which I think is unwanted most of the time), meaning you have to pay attention when pressing the keys very quickly or you might change their direction by accident and get dragged back very quickly before realizing it. That's what seemed to annoy me the most, at least. Other than that, I did manage to get to around 15 meters max before the current in some area felt too fast to beat. I think there's potential to the idea

Solid game entry I like the controls them selves but I'd probably have prefered if the placement was a bit different . Like W+s and arrow up and down

the controls aren't the best but it's a pretty good game. just lovely
