Very N64 regarding graphics/audio and level design. The camera makes the platforming pretty unforgiving (also a very N64 trait)
Thank you so much. Yeah so many issues with the camera. Had mouse look camera till like the last couple of days in development. Probably should have made the platforming a bit more forgiving considering how bad the camera ending up being.
I didn't necessarily mind the camera itself, it was cool when it worked with the level design. Jumping around the outer hub area at the beginning reminded me of the second level in Shadow of the Empire
Actually it turns out I was pressing the wrong L button to re-center - it's much more manageable using the camera re-center correctly
You really nailed the N64 feel with the camera and visuals of the game. I could barely get past the intro area though the way the platform jumping moved the camera around. Nonetheless, really nice job!
Thank you so much for the kind words. Sorry about the unforgiving platforming, I honestly did realize how rough it was until I seen the stream. Had alot of fun working on this so thank you for setting up this jam !
I could not get the game to launch. I got an error message that said I needed to update Vulkan or use open GL3 and neither option worked.
Sorry for that. Not sure whats went wrong there. I'll look into it.
