The blooming roses came with the mysterious death of the Branco's siblings. Who could have done such a thing? And much more than this, what was supposed to be shown? The question isn't how but why.

The art is amazing. Love all of little things that everybody has going on.
Love me some Beethoven :)
The CGs are *so* beautiful. They just blew me away. The rest of the art is also great and I love the UI.
Sometimes, I would have liked a bit more insight into the main character's decision making process. With some of their choices, there wasn't much explanation as to why they chose to take certain actions. But considering this is a jam game, I understand that your time was limited and you already wrote a whole lot of words for this!
I ran into an issue where the image "distorcerd" could not be found. Probably just a typo in your script, but still wanted to let you know!
I don't know how many dead ends it took me to get out of that blasted house, lol. But I made it in the end :)
This story had several twists and turns. It was a mystery with atmospheric music and fitting imagery to emphasize the mood, and a whole lot of different choices that may or may not get you killed.
Well done!
I'm very happy that you liked the artwork, I put so much effort on it. I understand that main character doesn't have really a personality or neither explain what they do, to be honest the story and narrative doesn't have too much explanations, the things just happen, I already knew it would end like this, or worst. But, since i wanted to focus on artwork, since it's what i know to do i'm ok with how did this VN end up.
And soon i'll fix all the script problems.
Thank you so much for your review!
Yeah, it's impressive how much you got done on your own. For me it's the other way around. If I do the art (as I did for the paint jam), stuff looks awful. I suck at anything more complex than stick figures, haha.
Such beautiful images! it was raining while i was playing, so it was the perfect atmosphere lol
I have a thing for spooky mansions, rainy nights and Moonlight Sonata so I was definitely attached to the game. I loved the ambientation, the mood and the premise of the story.
Oh, and the art is truly beautiful! I'm not sure why (might be just me) but Heitor's character design gave me the same vibes as Howl Pendragon, and who wouldn't love that? :D
As a side note, since there's an actual piano that is played in the game, I was a bit surprised that the music wasn't diagetic. I personaly feel like it might be a nice thing to play with (maybe it could stop when the text say so?). Anyway, there's clearly a lot of effort in the game, and it's gorgeous ^^ good job!
The art is so gorgeous :3 I really love the blinking sprites! Sometimes blinking and talking sprites can look a bit awkward and unnatural, but I think these look fantastic! Those backgrounds are gorgeous too. I especially love the alternative version of the bathroom background! Very cool. I won't say why cos of spoilers, but yeah, it was a nice touch to see in a background :D
I'm not sure if I'm just being blind/stupid, but I couldn't find the save button >.< So I had to start over from the beginning when I reached what seemed like a bad end. I'll come back later in the month to see if I can get a better ending because I'm trying to play at least a little bit of all the games at the moment :3
Anyways, really love your art ^-^
Solid artwork, no bugs, and certainly a spooky mood.
