This was a confusing ride :D

At first, I wasn't sure what was going on, being thrown into a world with these weird rules about secrets and with our main character talking to literal voices in her head. But as the story progressed, it became clear.

In my first run, I seem to have gotten my friend killed >_<

Every following run, the prophecy got fulfilled. I think I'm incredibly close to getting a good ending, but I can't seem to find out what I'm doing wrong. Sadly, it takes forever to get back to where I was and try out different choices, so I haven't figured it out yet :(

Maybe you could leave a spoiler detailing which path to take so that I can at least read the proper ending?

One thing that would be great would be the option to save. I saw the circumstances around the save button in another comment and totally get that. For jams, it's always a miracle when you have a working program come deadline! Also, a speed-up button would be cool. That way, even if you don't save, you can skip quickly past the text you've already read!

Anyway, this had me re-reading over and over again on the hunt for a good ending, so you certainly managed to pique my curiosity!

Hahaha I'm glad you liked it enough to play more than a run :D

We wanted to make it a bit confusing at the start, since Ro-ro is also veeery confused! It's good to hear that it was clearer for both of you once you started the investigation :) that's what we aimed for! All the hints are there (even if they need different runs to be found), but we knew that this structure was a risky one. I feel like it's hard to find a balance between not being very obvious and telling enough in this kind of stories.

Anyway, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! This month we're collecting all the comments to see how to improve the game in the future as much as we can since our skill has its limits ^^ if not, maybe a playtrough guide might be a good idea! :)

I really love the concept and the way that the voices were represented visually with the change in colour of the text as well! The explorative elements were a really lovely feature too. I especially loved the graveyard background/interactions :3

I got the 'Welcome Home' ending on my first play. I don't know if I'm just being blind or a bit stupid but I couldn't find a way to save the game >.< And when I reached the ending that I got, I clicked on return to main menu, but it didn't take me anywhere, so I tried I tried clicking on the exit button instead, but that one didn't do anything either so I had to tab out and close manually. I just thought I'd mention it in case you guys didn't know.

Anyways, I'll see if I can find the other endings another time later in the month because I'm trying to play as many of the games as I can right now :3

Thank you very much for playing! I’m glad you liked it ^^

You are absolutely right, there is no way to save and the button is broken (we found out in the last build so we had no time to fix it). The fact is that the person who programmed the game is not an actual programmer and it was my first time using inky so it’s kind of a miracle that the game works hahaha. I truly appreciate the feedback since we plan on fixing everything we can in the future 😊

Thanks again, I can’t wait to check out your game!! Will do as soon as I leave work today :D

Yeah, I remember seeing on the game page that you said it's the person's first time programming, so I was quite amazed when I started playing the game because they managed to do so much! I wouldn't have been able to make interactable objects and stuff for my first time programming, that's for sure. If you hadn't have mentioned it, I wouldn't have guessed it was put together by a first-time programmer :3 And the save thing isn't a huge issue anyways because it does give your choices more weight if you know you can't just easily go back and load, so it makes you think about your decisions more seriously.

I forgot to say as well that it's awesome you guys managed to get it available in two languages! That must've taken a lot of time in itself with so much writing :3

Aw, thanks! I will make sure to tell him ^^
Yeah, I feel more comfortable writing in Spanish since is my mother-tongue, so we chose to have both of them for the same price, and again it was thanks to my amazing partner who translated it reaaally quickly, so thanks for noticing the effort! :3

Yeah, you guys should give each other a big pat on the back :3 You can tell it was made with love!

I imagine translating must be really hard! I mean, being able to understand multiple languages is already amazing in itself, but then being able to translate them for others to understand is even more awesome :D

I was very endorsed in the story, and while wasn't scary, it was definitely unsettling at points. The premise is very nice. I really like the backgrounds too! Very nice visual language. Good work! -M

Aw, thanks for the nice words! We were totally going for a creepy background and story but light dialogues. Gotta love contrasts :) Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing <3
