Nice little story game with great characters and a great choice of music. I like the item names but especially the self aware writing for the cat :P

Presentation is definitely the highlight here. I think the game really nails the crafting mechanically and aesthetically. It does feel a little...on rails? Like you are just crafting what it tells you and when you are able to make choices they dont affect the fight scenes much. Overall very solid, good job!

Branching choices would have indeed been fun! After writing the scene about "decisions that really matter" (which was meant to poke fun at RPG conventions, but in hindsight feels a bit like taunting the player, lol) I briefly considered a sort of branching plot based on your crafting choices, but that was definitely too late into the jam to seriously consider implementing.

Maybe in Furn's Forge XIX!

Art is fantastic on this one. Loved putting the final decorations on each sword.

Yeah obviously off the charts art and UI - the button changing from primary to secondary color as you hover alone is like a full letter grade for me xD

Furn's Forge VI will always be my fav though

Furn's Forge VI is when the series really came into its own. Clownfish Carl was such an iconic villain!

Graphics, sounds and UI - are all over the top. Excellent job! In a past Jam, our team was following some very similar idea - but we didn't get even close to your grade of completeness and polishing.
Seeing Furn's Forge executed so well makes me look at your game even 3x more impressed. Very well done!
