Stuff you did not do in February
Started on the graphics around 4 days before the jam, while still unsure about entering. The music used was pre-existing, and has been freely passed around for decades.

Holy shit. I love this game.
I adore the soundtrack choices so much, real tracker module flavour. Sound design is also great. The visual style reminds me a bit of whatever aesthetic they were tapping into for Invader Zim, and I love the icons on the blocks telling you what you need to do to clear them (although I was a bit confused by the cyan face blocks). Simple concept executed with great polish. I liked the interactions between captive and captor, too.

Fun game, WAY harder than you'd think

Very gud game, the difficulty escalation is kinda wild

Wow, really cool. I love the music and how the level progression is synced to its ramping up. Resisting and delaying the likely inevitable takeover of the protagonist's mind is a great fit for this kind of gameplay and we love a cocky evil hypnodom (and a crux. Don't see too many of those).

It took me until seeing one of the other comments to realize that the shapes on the blocks corresponded to what shape you needed to put them in (i may be stupid), i have my assumption for what shape the arrows are supposed to go in but i haven't been able to actually accomplish it amongst the pace and the chaos of everything else so i ended up just ignoring those entirely. I'm up to level 5 so far. Really wanna see more of the dialogue though, so probably i'll be coming back to this one.

Damn that is fucking good. The sound, music, art, and gameplay all come together so well. Finally managed to beat level 5. A practice mode to figure out how to best arrange blocks would be a good addition if you ever update this.

Holy shit this is good???

First impressions when booting up the game is that this looks straight out of 2007 with the tracket music and the general... feel? of the title screen

When I started playing though my god this is fun, it's like bejeweled twist with one hell of a twist (haha) on things with how blocks clear. This gets hard fast, but honestly it feels unique in this block puzzle genre that i tried for a bit to push for survival. Made it to level 7, seems to be about halfway, there's a chance I come back to it to try and beat it.

Local block puzzle nerd approves

This is really fun. I'll definitely be coming back to try to beat it

The gameplay really gets you feeling as overwhelmed as the hypnotized character (in a good way :3 )

Also, big fan of how each block has it's own kind of pattern to destroy them

this is actually pretty fun
