I liked the art style and really loved the cover, but I agree that I was also confused with what I needed to do, and it was hard clicking on things. I really like the concept though, so I say keep fine tuning it.

Really interesting RTS - unfortunately I had trouble commanding people around (without dragging them), had a hard time learning the game and couldn't click the characters easily. There was way too much micro and I couldn't get my feet off the ground. But I would play it again if the characters had a bigger click area and the start of the game was more forgiving!

Yeah the balancing is way wacky, It's way too hard to start and then you barely even have to try once you've got a couple vehicles. click area is a big issue, and I wish there was a way to up the click area without actually widening the hitbox. I don't want the drivers to be easier to kill.  an Attacher might work? not sure.

There's a lot I want to improve about this game but I don't think it should take too long so I look forward to seeing what you think once I've done some work. thanks for playing!

Very fun, I love the screen shake and other visual effects (especially when running over enemies) and how much choice you're given as to who to deploy, what to make, what to focus on, etc.

If I could change one thing, it would be to have the enemies spawn from all one direction, and have that direction change over time, that way they still come in groups but overwhelm you less easily...

This is one of the games I'm going to enjoy playing for a while after the jam is over, hopefully trying out all the different strategies and options. I really hope you keep working on this, it's amazing so far!

I BEAT IT! I BEAT THE GAME! MY PARENTS WERE WRONG ABOUT ME I CAN ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING!!!

seriously tho this is a really fun game, I love this kind of slow build up tower defense and fighting off mad max baddies it's really cool!

took me a little bit to figure out how to get started but it's really awesome when you get into the rhythm of things. very fun (:

I love the art, but I have no idea how to get scrap in the beginning

I'll hold off on rating it until then

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

you get scrap from trading money with one of the trading posts, the one on the top left. you can mouse over a trading post to see what it offers. move your player through the post and they'll trade automatically at any of the 3. there's a bit about it in the tutorial level but it's not great, it was made in the last few hours.

thanks for holding off on your rating, I appreciate it.
