Beautiful looking game! And some really effective moments that made me jump but didn't feel cheap, really instilled a sense of fear. Something that took away from the experience is some of the sound design for the monster, I could hear where the loop of growls began/ended, and that did slightly spoil the mood. I hope this is something you look at in version 2! I expect to see V2 on some YouTube channels!
Impressive! The graphics and art direction are spot on, and I too was reminded of No Face by the monster. Everything about the visuals was over the top. A little buggy in certain spots, going through doors after death and such, but nothing game breaking. The chase and hiding sequences were well spaced and implemented. Just enough challenge but not enough to be frustrating. I also like how much danger there is in the act of running... kids love to run though. What really brought this to a whole new level was the animation. The player character and monster animations (switching direction!) made the whole world feel aware and alive, the water effects were also a very nice touch. Awesome entry.
It's so beautifuuuuul, we love your style! Also great work on the lighting, that water reflection, the overall design (those characters, and that monster! really awesome, reminds me of a scarier twisted version of No Face from Spirited Away). Good mechanics and animations too. I managed to bug the game a bunch of times when searching or using the stairs repeteadly but other than that it's a great game, congratulations!
Gorgeous papercraft horror with a charming protagonist and fun mechanics.
In addition to having fantastic artwork, I was really impressed with the amount of polish not just visually but in terms of control, feedback, and quality of life like hints, instructions, prompts, and even NPCs.
This was a great entry with tons of flavor and style. Thanks for sharing!

Yes we're going to make a V2 without bug ^^ and we'll try to polish what needs to be.
I'm not sur if the problem is the sound or the way we activate it... Maybe it's restarting it sometimes when it shouldn't... But we'll check this.
Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks a lot !
I think we're going to make a V2 to make a version without bugs and change the way the beast is coming through the rooms.
There is an animation when the beast appear in the room but we didn't got time to add it...

Yeah some bugs remains, we'll try to do better next time !
