I'm playing version 0.1.3, which I believe is the latest. Did you ever fix the bug reported by others that prevents you adding the note to the cauldron? I have the note, it's listed as an ingredient, but when I try to add it, I'm told that it's not an ingredient.

I'm stuck as I seem to have run into a bug with the hints - the current hint says 'give the protection potion to the smith' even though I already have given it to him. I'm currently trying to find a way of finding the florist's ring and a way of identifying the safe mushrooms.
A few more small bugs to report:
‘You’ll need to pick it up to read it’ shows up when reading the note in the jewelry box, as Rovarsson mentioned below.
You can go north to the castle from where the guard is standing but you can’t do anything there – is this supposed to happen?
The old woman talks about having taken the potion ('now I can visit my grandson...') before she’s taken it.
Rogue extra ‘Who are you talking to?’ response when I talk to the fisherman after he's moved to the bridge.

I fixed the issue with the hint system... I think. As well as the other little bugs. Hopefully there is nothing else blocking you from finishing at this point 🤦🏻♀️

I loved Snow Haven and I'm enjoying this game too.
Just a little buggy nitpick:
I just found that when I READ NOTE (the one in the jewel box), I can read the contents of the note but the game still tells me "You'll need to pick it up to read it," in a separate response.

Super cool story with interesting mechanisms (map, clicking), the quests are very fun!
Really enjoying the game, but running into similar issues to others. I've completed most of the game, but can't trigger the in-game hint for the finding things potion or the sharpening. When I type HINT, it says that pebbles are sturdy and then the next hint gives me the full formula for sharpening, then no more hints.
I saw someone mention adding the note as an ingredient. In my first playthrough, it said the note is not an ingredient. Also, I couldn't X it, but I could READ it. Typing GET NOTE didn't change that; I still had the note, could drop it and take it, but couldn't X it or add it to the pot. Almost like the game had two notes in the code, but IDK. I started over and in the new game I could add the note, but I don't know what recipe to use it in.
Overall this is a very fun game!
I am having problems with LOAD and SAVE.
SAVE appears to be working, but often when I try to LOAD a saving, the cursor just appears again as if I loaded nothing. It seems to work fine in the first 3 locations or so (usually), but after that, loading a saving gets me nowhere. I tried both with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. I am using Windows 10.
I hope you can fix it as it is a really good game.

EDIT: I just realised that this bug was reported below and that I started my session before your reply where you mention that the bug has been fixed. So I closed my browser and restarted, so now the note can be added as an ingredient. However, when I add the note, I am not told that I remember a specific recipe, so I guess I now have to do something else to trigger that memory?

Yes, originally there were two ways you could come upon the recipe, but I decided to get rid of this way in case it caused anymore problems :)
Fisherman's house
when x pole there is a message that looks strange:
It looks like any other fishing pole.
You don't see that right now. <- should not be here i quess?
Another one with recipe. I added sugar, ashes, then note. Messege about remembering poped up. Then message about 'can not be added..' sry i forgot it after i realized what happened. After that x note does not work, as if removed from cauldron when i tried to take note back?
Thank you! Just fixed both of these issues and put in a failsafe for the note, in case yours for some reason disappeared forever. Now it will always magically appear if type "get note" after having picked it up before :-D
Hiya! I've started a couple of times, but can't get past a bug in the third room after you examine the tea pot - every command results in the same response:

Maybe something still not right. In the room named "Sindrella's room" there is a note and a letter. When i type "get letter" the same bug shows up as Dee Coke has described. But after i do "get note" and then "get letter", then everything works normally.
Tried again today - I'm also still getting the bug after examining the tea pot.
Okay I think I finally squashed this bug for good!!

Thanks for playing my game. I welcome any and all feedback, as I'll be continuing to update this game for the next month!
The storyline and puzzles are all complete, but I'll be adding music, more graphics (there are some placeholders currently), and a few more achievements / fun side quests.
Right after publishing I was informed that my hint system was broken, but
that should be resolved in the next few hours.it's fixed now. (That being said, please let me know if you get a hint that makes no sense.)
