Oh shoot... Thanks for letting me know. 59 days ago haha. I'll update them soon!

Thank you!!
Part of why it didn't take me longer than that is
1. I generated the artwork in Midjourney and edited it, so what could have taken me 300 hours took me ~12
2. I re-used snippets of code that I wrote in the past... at this point I have a whole library of subroutines ready to go 😂
Anyone is free to use my code snippets, by the way. I haven't chosen a specific creative license, but basically, if you want to brew a potion in your game, go ahead and take my potion brewing subroutines. https://github.com/tristin-grizel/midsummer
I don't think I've laughed so much playing a game... maybe ever! The bread scanner, Ivanhoe books, "niwde" (I have no idea if you MEANT that to be funny, but it was hilarious to me), fifth cigarette, and the ending... I was dying laughing. It was really fun to play, challenging but intuitive enough that I could figure it out without hints (although I did try to get hints a couple times). Amazing game and probably better without graphics, because what was in my mind's eye was better and funnier.

I found out that one of my updates had on_debug still on, so if you played the game starting from the witch's hut, oops, and sorry!! 🤦♀️ If you restart the game and you're still at the witch's hut, move to a new location and then restart again (or just clear your cache).
Please comment if something about the game doesn't seem right, so I can fix it right away 🙈
This is a fun game in an immersive setting that is easy to visualize. The layout of the town outside the castle was believable and not too overwhelming, and there were some really interesting locations that were fun to explore. I chuckled a few times at some of the descriptions (the runaway cart, and the potatoes, for example).
As with your other games, the puzzles are unique and engaging, and add to the story (I liked washing the sewage off). Some of the puzzles were not as obvious as they should have been (SPOILER: like when you have to search the grass to find the hook), and a hint system would have been helpful for figuring out what to do when stuck (I kept thinking I needed to get the crowd to move by throwing a potato at them or something).
I loved the introduction / backstory, but I wished there was a bit more added to the storyline during the actual quest. Tell me more about the cake! Your uncle was a farrier, but did the king invest in his small business? I liked having the random interactions from the old man, little girl, etc., but it would have been fun to have some interactions that had to do with the backstory (e.g. if the old man asked whether you had an invitation to the ball and was hoping the king could taste your cake).
Overall, the game is a good length for holding my interest, and the setting and puzzles are enjoyable. I'd love to see the story fleshed out a bit more!

Hi everyone!
Thanks for playing my game. I welcome any and all feedback, as I'll be continuing to update this game for the next month!
The storyline and puzzles are all complete, but I'll be adding music, more graphics (there are some placeholders currently), and a few more achievements / fun side quests.
Right after publishing I was informed that my hint system was broken, but that should be resolved in the next few hours. it's fixed now. (That being said, please let me know if you get a hint that makes no sense.)
