Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Might be the most "chill" game I've played in a while, puzzles were straightforward, the added Menu UI was excellent, and the Kids-as-roaming-hint-system gimmick is honestly inspired. Absolutely delightful from beginning to end.

This was a relaxing and beautifully put together treasure hunt - I especially liked the way that you could use the other competitors to grab hints along the way. That kept me on track with a couple of the multi-step puzzles. There's some nice plotting as well to give the game some intrigue and extra achievements alongside the fetch quest. The art was very nice and the music was soothing though I thought that the design and format of the text shone equally for me. It was always so clear which objects were in play and where you could go next - the MAP and CLUES tabs were super-useful - I thought at the start that I was going to have to write all my own clues down! This is exactly the kind of game that would appeal to beginners and younger players to get them into text adventures. I played and completed it in one long session which is high praise (both to its design and hinting as I'm not always great at solving puzzles). Congratulations!

This is such a gorgeous game! Wow, the formatting of the pages is so cool!
It's super polished and very large. The puzzles were super fun!

Also making this in just 60h total?!?!? that's impressive!

Thank you!!

Part of why it didn't take me longer than that is
1. I generated the artwork in Midjourney and edited it, so what could have taken me 300 hours took me ~12
2. I re-used snippets of code that I wrote in the past... at this point I have a whole library of subroutines ready to go ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyone is free to use my code snippets, by the way. I haven't chosen a specific creative license, but basically, if you want to brew a potion in your game, go ahead and take my potion brewing subroutines. https://github.com/tristin-grizel/midsummer

I absolutely loved this game - whimsical, fantastical, and beautiful.  I particularly enjoyed discovering the optional achievements separate from the main objective of the game, and would have loved an extra one for kissing the frog :).

Ooh good idea about the frog!

I found out that one of my updates had on_debug still on, so if you played the game starting from the witch's hut, oops, and sorry!! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ If you restart the game and you're still at the witch's hut, move to a new location and then restart again (or just clear your cache).

Please comment if something about the game doesn't seem right, so I can fix it right away ๐Ÿ™ˆ
