Okay, First of all I really enjoyed this, the rythm was really nice, the only issue for me is that past one point in the game, it was just the same thing over and over again, same notes, same rythm.

Over all really nice experience, Well done!

Oh man I love rhythm games, this is a really good start. I felt it took a bit too long for the song to get going, and while I like the song it might be a bit too repetitive for a rhythm game - it didn't really allow for variations in note timings. I think the game could also benefit from some penalty for letting a note pass without hitting it.

This is a really solid entry though, nicely done!

Good rhythm type game, liked the sound effects and music which was included within this to make the game stand out, and that it got harder the further you progressed, would of been good to have the multiplier end when missing a note when not tapping spacebar. But for a rhythm game overall I feel that this was a good game, well done

A good submission. There was no indication to which button you pressed, initially I had thought it would be a mouse. Otherwise works as intended and the addition of sound was nice.

Really cool game idea congrats! :)

A good effort with a nice little sound track, However, I noticed when you had the highest rate of beats across screen that it became harder to miss than it was to hit the beat. I think that the idea as a whole is neat, just some tweaking here and there with scores and difficulty and it would be great.

Developer

Yeah I did notice the difficulty issue when I was testing. I intended to make it so you lose lives when you miss a beat, but it wasn't working correctly so I took it out.

Your UP number should also be part of the game title (see the email). I like the idea, however the score, multiplier and lives do not seem to increment? However good effort and several days early.

Developer

Yeah I realised that while discussing the games with others today and should now have fixed the title.

The score and multiplier should increase each time a beat is correctly hit (although the multiplier only goes up to 8), or at least they did when I was making and testing the game.

The lives decrease when you hit the button without a beat there, but it's not very difficult and I found actually becomes easier as the game progresses and the gap becomes smaller. I was trying to make it so that lives are lost if you miss a beat, but it was being very glitchy so I decided to leave it as it was rather than risking breaking the whole thing.
