I enjoyed my time playing this game, and the fact that there are particles showing where the next spikes will spawn is really nice and makes the player think on what the best decision is.
Maybe adding some sound effects would be nice.
Other than that, really nice game, Well done!
A good game concept with spikes appearing and disappearing from the sides of the wall making it challenging at the last second to time the jump as such well to avoid the spikes, liked the score inclusion, would liked to of heard sounds or music within the game but understandable with the short deadline why not included, overall a good addictive game to try and get a high score so well done!
I really love the concept, the gameplay is really fun! While I appreciate the rise in difficulty as the game does on, once you get to around 15 hitting a gap in the spikes feels more like luck than skill. I also felt that the indicators for where the spikes are about to appear blend into the background a bit, I found myself squinting to make them out.
Overall an addictive, fast paced game, nicely done!
simple fun but quite purple. in my opinion the character moves down to fast but that's part of the challange
A unique use of the single control prerequisite, and very much appreciative of the small graphics that indicate where a spike spawns. Nice difficulty progression without feeling laborious or overwhelming. As Ted mentioned, giving people a way to exit the game without alt+f4/alt-tabbing would go a long way. Good game nonetheless.
Your UP number should be part of the title, see email. This is quite fun once you realise that 'space' is the control! Also there is no way to exit from within the game (honestly i wouldn't count exit as a game control - maybe i need to mention that next time)! With some sound a graphical polish i can see this as an interesting thing. Consider a more... marketing... type image for future submissions. Also several days early, well done.
