Really Nice game! :)
A fun game and a concept I didn't think I would see here! The soundtrack is great and the game was entertaining to play. It would have been nice is the towers had different attacks but it is still a fun game to play!
Didn't expect to see a tower defence game here, nice one! Love the music and sound effects. Had a lot of fun playing it, although as others have mentioned it would have been nice to see more differentiation between the towers. I also found that especially on the easier difficulty towers would often shoot and kill the enemies before they appeared on the screen, making it tricky to tell what was going on. Otherwise a genuinely fun tower defence game, congrats!
Pretty fun game with a good idea, although I feel like some things still need tweaking to make it play better. One thing I noticed was it you single click a tower to buy, it gets stuck in a red zone but cant be moved. However, I thought it was a solid attempt and really fun to play.
Not sure if this was unique to me but I have problems starting a wave. It takes about 30 secs to start per wave
Being able to play it directly from an itch.io page is a big plus. A good representation of the tower defence genre, with a whole soundtrack to boot! A decent amount of time could be sunk into this game for something made in a small amount of time.
A couple of problems come to mind. Firstly, if you Title Screen names the game "White Hawk War", why have you titled it "Tower Defence Game" on the itch? Consistency is key! Secondly, the towers all have the same slow moving projectile which makes the ability to choose a bit redundant. Thirdly, it feels like the sounds aren't synced up for some reason, I hear things shooting and dying without anything coming across on screen. Next, once you have chosen a tower you cannot choose another one which means that if you picked the wrong tower by mistake, theres no way to change your mind. Finally, it's hard to tell what towers have what stats and it largely comes down to trial and error.
Despite the complaints, and as previously mentioned, the game is surprisingly deep given the time it took to make it. It seems that effort has been made to balance everything and make the game more than a "press-button simulator". I had fun whilst playing it, which is the main factor!
is quite fun and simple however the waves seem to start of screen and the bullets move quite slowly for a small map
