I think the other comments pretty much cover anything I'd have to say about the game. My favorite part being towards the end where the sounds of the violin are mixed in with what sounds like a vehicle while you're traversing an upward road with no where to hide.
This was a really great experience! It really effectively builds tension, the graphics style looks really great, and the storybook idea is so cool.
There's a lot I wish I could say, but I feel like I shouldn't just so other players can get the full experience.
I adored this entry. You have a great understanding of atmosphere and presentation, and it really shows here. I play a lot of horror games, so I'm usually pretty stone-faced when I go through them, but this one actually got me anxious. A lot about this is incredibly clever, from using the storybook as a map, to the audio cues lining up with the storybook itself, and the overall suspense you created.
I did not want to play this. Not because it's bad, but because it just unnerved me enough.
My only criticism is that the game is a bit buggy in some regards: The controls prompt did not show for me the first time, and the camera keeps trying to drift to the right even when I'm not touching my mouse. The second one was especially frustrating at times when I was trying to get my bearings in the maze-- Which, in fairness, added to the anxiety lmao
Overall stunning, would love to see more from you in the future!

if you're worried about a jump scare, don't be! There is none.I think this was a neat idea! I like the juxtaposition of the bright, friendly, cute story book with the dark and scary environment. The flashlight makes it even more spooky. I love the watercolor-style illustrations in the book.
This was a fun concept. Going through a maze-like building with a children's book as a map.
The ambiance was isolating, and the voices were unsettling. This game did amazingly with it's horror aesthetic.
The controls were confusing for me because of a glitch. The "Left Mouse Click to open doors" didn't show up for me on my first playthrough.
