How did you implement the Theme: A Game of Life and Death in your game?
The game is a reality TV show where inmates fight for cash, freedom, and their lives!
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
The gamemaster pops up at the beginning, but he's kinda lame. I forgot to add the land mines for deadly traps. Whoops! Uhhh, I guess you can choose to let your player die and let evil pervail...

I had a blast playing this one. As many have mentioned, the sound design in this game is top notch. Though not really a horror game, per se, it still is a solid game over all.
Thumbs up for the sounds...! XD
Perfect game
Thank you so much!
Engaging game play loop. Puts you in the moment and is enjoyable.
Art assets, timeline and theme could probably push the horror side.
Could see it set inside your own mind with optical illusion style background and level design with some symbolic enemies and lots of blood.
Alright, so, the sound effects are incredible :D
The graphics are pretty good, especially the bullet effects. Though the enemy and player sprites are probably too small. And if I didn't read the story in the game page description, I'd probably think you are fighting zombies in this game.
A few times I died right at the start, because the enemies started spawning from the bottom door and I didn't notice because they were hard to spot when the screen was covered by the Gamemaster guy. Would be better if the enemies only start spawning after he disappears. Especially since they appear on top of him and it looks wonky.
Overall, the game could use more of a "horror" element. It's more just silly than anything else. Making the player feel guilty for all those "enemies" they end up eliminating would probably be the way to go about it.
Anyway, it's overall a good archievement for 48 hours development time, especially since you were apparently learning how to use something new, so good job!
Thank you so much for playing! You're right on all points. Making top-down graphics is the most challenging for me, but I had to try it at least once. I'll make a proper horror game next time!
