I tried this game very early, before the rating period started.
But I had to come back to this game way later since I couldn't figure out if I just understood some things wrong or if some functions are bugged.
Looking at this game a second time. I may not be familiar with RTS games but I'm pretty certain that the mouse drag selection and some building functions don't work right. Drag-selecting seems to be dependent on where the map's been scrolled (wat). I spawn a Flower Patch when I want an Igloo. When I try to use a building for spawning units it always shows the options for the very first base, I cannot spawn Cirnos, Dais nor Frog Riders...
There's lack of feedback too for battles and resource gathering, some visual or audio cues to convey to the player that something's happening would have been nice.
the upgrades and buildings dont seem to do anything yet they still take away resources, and all new buildings look like the flower field. If one or more units end up the same spot then they'll stay grouped up forever. The pathfinding for the pranksters goes to your cursor rather to where you click, and i dont know how long the battles take because i had 12 pranksters but the battles with the sdm seems to go really slowly. The fairies do chop wood but 15 seconds for 15 wood is pretty slow.
10/10 game.
I can appreciate what the game's going for, but yeah, RTS in 3 days is a wee bit ambitious.
On the plus side, I did manage to defeat all the enemies.
I could not find out how to chop wood, but apparently clicking the small lake shows buttons to spawn more units, meaning they hypothetically mate there to increase population, 10/10
hey, checked out your game. doesnt seem like its possible to chop wood (and if it is, i didnt notice how). the concept was really funny, title screen made be grin :>
Thanks for checking it out! - its not great cause we super over scoped lol. To chop wood you send a fairy round the edges of the trees near misty lake, then ~15 seconds later the fairy should automatically return to base with the wood (you can also manually send them back to the lake). There isn't really any visual feedback for anything cause I ran out of time to put it in orz
