AHh the drift direction is opposite of Mario Kart!!
is it?? do you only play mkwii's inside bikes or did the controls frick up again...?
DRIFUTO! This is a cool game! I wanted to let you know though that best lap times don't seem to save.
bumpin
Hmm, I could tell there was some kind of bounce when 'drifting', but drifting itself has some kind of weird delay? Either way, it's a neat idea, just wish there was some kind of music! (Fastest lap for me was 21:35 btw)
Ah yeah, theres a "slip" at the start of the drift kinda like Mario Kart where your turning is pretty much disabled, if that's what you mean. It gives drifts a detailed texture that I love in mk8, though it ends up providing an arc similar to a good bounce-drift, so maybe i should make it shorter or remove it altogether to bring the functional variety up, hmm...
Well anyway, thanks for playing!
Best set so far:
22:46
20:35
20:00
Before discovering bounce tech it seemed like a straightforward racing game with a drift mechanic to take sharp turns. Decent but unremarkable.
Then I discovered bounce tech, and spent a bad amount of time optimizing my runs trying to unlock the secrets of this mechanic.
Anywho, 0/5 for making me repeatedly ram a tortoise into the wall. This review was written completely under my free will, otterly free of any external compulsion.
HOTFIX (2 HOURS LATER): Forgot to add the pck to the Windows version, lmao. Also you can navigate menus up/down with a controller now! No idea why that isn't on by default.
The provided Best Times are 25-23-21, but see if you can beat 22-19-19. :)
