Considering issues with the bullet patterns have already been pointed out, I definitely wanna add to the appreciation for the visual effects on the moon, the progressive states of damage look cool and really fit the Broken Moon song inspiration.

i have broken the moon and discovered its secret: it is actually red and evil
as mentioned in other comments: safespotting is pretty easy but if i did not use it it would be really hard. fast bullets and unpredictable meteor-things (i assume those deal damage)
As a concept is quite nice, but Touhou games taught me something, that you should stay in one spot and see what it happens, I did and find a safe spot where I never got hit, so this was not much of a challenge for me while streamed it, sorry about that.
Moon phases are pretty cool, and danmaku goes wild after some damage, the last one is super badass, I just loved it.
The trick is to put into your mind what kind of movement should the player have while trying to solve danmaku.
I mentioned that I cheated, but I did because I found a safe spot, with that info in your mind you could make a shield that slowly follow the player, making them unable to stay into one spot, if a player is forced to move, either because there's an enemy object following or a shield that blocks / needs to be broken or loose bullets that aim to the player directly, you can actually put that into play to force different kinds of movement.
Saying that, I preffer to have different kind of mechanics that make me think fast, rather than a deadly danmaku, its more fun that way, good luck with your next projects!
i like blowing up moons makes me feel like gru from inspecotor ggagdet best game ign 11/10
Will be honest - I found a safe spot and completed it that way, without it - character is too uncontrollable (no focus and diagonal movement) and bullet patterns switching too sudden while shields are not a problem and comets can be tanked at stage they appear at.
Good as an idea - destroying moon, and having phases changing look of "boss" along with new attakcs, but overall wasn't good
Hi !
Thanks for playing my game !
I was to focus on trying to create patterns that I didnt saw that there was many safe spots '^^
As for the patterns switching to quickly I did though of some animations between each phases but didnt manage to make any animations at all
For the movement there is diagonale ? But maybe I should make it like the character rotate around the moon ?
Anyways thanks for your comment ^^
