My favorite game of yours I've played so far, I think. Menus are super polished at this point, jokes landed for me, and I liked the lighter balance of philosophy with the character lore and evidence gathering system. Plus, multiple endings is always impressive.

it is bagoumgame time

i always say how cool the engine is you already know alright so now its time for MINOR CRITICISMS

such as: kinda weird that right click advances text. im expecting it to bring up menu so i can save on a particular line, but i'm totally going past that line instead! it works like i think it will in menus but in dialogue a tiny bit funky

the icons for moving around didn't always show up after talking and i think i had to hover over them once or twice before they appeared, aaaaaand finally the evidence menu is a bit weird with how you hover and then move to present instead of selecting and then presenting or just selecting to present. makes it easy to accidentally move over something else before presenting or think that you did, leading to multiple presentations of identical evidence

well, profiles. if we are gonna be ace attorney about it. makes sense once you realize they update after conversation with the person

none of which is really a big deal though but it would be awesome to see a hyperpolished suzunoya release for public consumption because if i see another dude using tyranobuilder i might blow up

game is awesome as always. very funny and contains references to books i've never heard of (i have heard of moby dick but omg the spoilers!) and scientific and philosophical principles i have SOMETIMES heard of. when i crit and actually know what the hell nue is talking about is unparalleled

the endings are funny and i don't entirely believe you that there are only two of them but since presenting and loading and presenting takes a while i will have to settle with trust

but ultimately, in the end, the most important take away is really, mostly that, probably: shit. i also made a short dairi sprite-using vn jam entry in a fork of my bullet hell engine. please don't sue me!

i know how it is. but. i believe in us. we will make it happen 2k22 vn saving and loading

Of all the games I've played so far, this one utilises the theme in the most creative way. I have high hopes for the Use of Theme score this time around!

A problem I had with your previous jam game, Purple Heart Paradox, was that while the writing was good and solid, the long-winded discussions sometimes felt dry and not fascinating enough. However, this game removes that dryness completely, with discussions that are both deep and engaging to go through for the philosophically uninformed reader. It's a much-appreciated improvement. Good work overall!

I love this one, it's writing is great. The perfect mix of silly and serious, it's incredible that this was made in just 3 days.

Wowww, that last evidence check. (The final answer seemed obvious but then I guess the hint lies in the phrasing of the question.) Anywho, always digging these abridged courses of Philosophy 101 (with a smattering of English Literature 101). Also, the ||anti-climatic|| ending is on point.

Finished the story! It was a roller coaster of serious and silly moments.

The way the term ghost was being debated, as of what characteristics or nature it defines and/or satisfies with to be considered as one, here, is excellent.

It is also cool at the story implies that such methods on how an individual should confront a ghost depends on what kind of ghost they're dealing with, e.g., they're might be interpersonal or intrapersonal influences, and/or either in physical or metaphysical forms.

Regardless, the game also provides the puzzle aspect in which you communicate with others, collect their ideas, and present them at certain subjects, and this game mechanic encourages the player to remember the dialogues or hints which the cast have provided.

Overall, the narrative aspect (including the 4th wall breaks), the UI and sprites are great.
