TV intro, with vocals?? UNO??? mad props
So many great gags in this. Good art, writing, etc. and I love how it all came together. Especially loved the details in the backgrounds, on characters (like all of Nazrin's little rats!) and everything happening on the screen with the shelf. I wonder where Goncharov screens in Gensokyo this summer
i hate uno
that card game is the very image of a dull infinity, the reason they tell you not to become immortal, for you will be locked in an endless ghetto of tedium, always going back and forth, always bleeding, never to hold anything in your hands again, never to live, never to die
every game of uno ive played for the last half decade has been cancelled because it simply does not end
but you
you prove that there is a way out
"right click to change color", the words that tell me that the dull infinity can be broken, that the life of the immortal need not be dreadful, that HOPE exists ANYWHERE, even as the new moon leaves the surface dark and impossible to navigate, in a whirlwind of skip and reverse turns and spellcards, IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A CHANGE.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
"YOU HAVE UNO IT CAME FREE WITH YOUR XBOX FUTO"
Had a lot of fun, fake uno was a good blast, scenarios were comfy, had a glitch where it showed me having one more card than I actually did at the end, but it worked out in the end. Had a good time.
it was very cute. but i wish there was a black stroke around the text. especially the red nameplates, which lacking an outline gave me a headache trying to read.
also, the lack of volume and window size settings made it very difficult to set up for streaming, especially since the sound was muted when not tabbed in, meaning that adjusting settings on the fly was extremely frustrating, especially as the game still advances muted while tabbed out. at the very least, the opening theme should have had subtitles; it was basically impossible for me to parse.
i enjoyed the writing a lot, and the scenarios were, again, quite cute, but the technical details made it very difficult for me to enjoy it through my sensory issues.
Finally. More Futo and Ichirin. I love these two together.
The episodic format with minigames is a great match. And of course having an opening is wild. I really liked the first episode because I have made my own dark chocolate recipes before, so it brought back good memories. I found the second one hilarious because I’ve heard from a couple of Futo fans now of how much better she would look without her hat. It had a lovely resolution too. I liked the third one for the setup and the gameplay, but I think that Futo’s dialogue could use some work there (unironically, Shakespeare is a good reference for Futo’s manner of speech). That aside, the Uno gameplay was my favorite part and it was funny to see Futo so riled up. I also want to highlight the portraits and expressions, they were really cute.
Once again Megapig great job coordinating such a large team and congratulations to all the team members.
Lovely! I liked that the game comprised three separate stories. The chocolates and hat episodes had really cute plots and good humour; finding the hat was harder than I expected, but I managed to do it in the end! Also, I half expected Ichirin to get accustomed to sweet flavours and end up not liking Futo's chocolates, but your version is much more adorable.
I really appreciated that the third episode was mostly centered around gameplay, it was a nice change of pace! The Touhou spin on "Uno" was quite simple, but I especially liked the feng shui mechanic that let you change colours every once in a while, as I'm sure it could have become a slog without it. That was good intuition! The game glitched during the final showdown, but I won anyway, and it only happened once. It was nothing serious though, I'm sure you could have made some adjustments if you had had a bit more time!
I don't think I know of any other game with a theme song! And the art was cute all around! Overall, I really liked it, and I could see that you all made a ton of effort to bring us this game in just two weeks. Thank you!
Yo is that. An opening song?? Simply amazing.
The production value is quite impressive- and I just noticed the size of the team too lol
I like the stories here, heart-lighted couple (as in: pairing) things. It's just so fun seeing Futo and Ichirin do things for eachother!
I liked the idea of 3 short stories with their own unique minigames and storywriters. It fits well with the chaotic theme in a way. I had a lot of fun with Ichi and did some free play for a while. I did run into some bugs, but they were pretty rare and it's unlikely people would notice them if they didn't spend a bunch of time in free play like I did. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Also I love Ichirin's facial expressions.
That extra card Ichi bug really annoyed me but I had to live with it lol. Thanks for playing!
AN OPENING SONG? ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!
The opening is so beautifully sang and the visuals are incredible—I was hooked! The episodes themselves are bite-sized and very cute. The addition of minigames was fun, I wish Ichi were a teeny bit easier to follow along when it's your turn! I loved all the character art, and the funky text sound for each character was such a neat touch.
Very fun and nice to read!!
