Exceedingly spooky with surprising depth of puzzles/control and plenty going on. Nice work!

This is absolutely fantastic, I've never once been a fan of "horror" games. I've always been one to laugh at horror movies and games. But this is the first one that actually has ever made me feel immersed and honestly scared the crap out of me. It really encapsulates the absolute feeling of not knowing what the heck is going on. The graphic style, the limited sight range, the lighting - there were times where I heard absurdly loud static and I still have no clue what was going on, but it made me jump more than a couple times. I will definitely come back to this game and try to complete it.

that was exactly what i was going for with it! so glad you enjoyed it!

Game's still quite buggy, might continue this idea in the future!

found a fun bug, if you  wait at the starting area for night to fall, theres some fun stuff you can do ;)

This was very interesting. The visual style and general atmosphere is amazing and gives the game a genuinely scary vibe. Making sprint and crawl both space bar feels awkward, though. Also, if you have two or more keys it can be hard to keep track of which are which.

I survived the night, but I never encountered any of the monsters/creatures/things mentioned in the notes. Did I get lucky? Is that intentional and the notes are there to scare you and make you paranoid? I didn't really accomplish anything aside from finding some keys and opening some doors. It was a little anticlimactic, honestly, but I still enjoyed the experience for the visuals alone.

you must have gotten incredibly lucky, the AI can sometimes get stuck, as you were supposed to encounter something, but the notes are mostly there to make you more paranoid, glad you enjoyed

This is such a great horror game! Your games are always super impressive and this one is especially so. The polish is insane! I love the pixel effect that obscures details, it gives the player less information which is great for a horror game. I love the weird way the game handles crouching and sprinting, it feels very manual and is again great for a horror game! Only being able to hold two items is also really cool and unique. Overall, amazing job I really enjoyed this one! 🙏

Also, I appreciate the inclusion of the 12ft tall Grombit statue in the cellar. It was very life-like; but, I would always get stuck by his tongue and then get killed by the shadow demon.

This game looks so good! I love the aesthetics and the sound design (:

It was too spooky for me, but from what I managed to get through, it was amazing. The graphics are very unique and the atmosphere is horrifying. Wish I could get to the end but 10/10 anways.
