Cool game! I would recommend deleting long gone corpses after a while for performance reasons.
No, see your previous corpses are the mechanism for spawning zombies. Plus, it would take a colossal amount of deaths to effect most people's machines and by that point the game should have been easily winnable a long time before.
The core concept behind this game is really strong. You delivered a very polished game in such a short amount of time, and I applaud you for that! I found the jump and movement to be kind of sticky and not as enjoyable as I'd hoped. But the twists are great, and you overall did very well.

Really great twist, I would make it so that when the player lands on the same spikes that you gradually remove the corpses like you can keep 4-5 but after that it's just a mess and you don't know where the spike edges are
Interesting mechanic / twist. However there is little difficulty in getting to the fort since the zombies present little or no threat to the main character and all the obstacles are easy to avoid. Ended up just dying to the fist spike pit over and over to reach a critical mass of zombies. Was still fun seeing all my corpses taking the fort.

The limiting controls made me think of a 2-D Temple Run, and the fact the MC can't die made it interesting to say the least. The audio and visuals are pretty ok too! Nice game for something made in three hours!

Pretty fun, and the art is also cute. The game mechanic of your past lives coming back as zombies is pretty cool twist two.
