Nice submission, but was a bit too easy to complete as you could just jump on the platform and avoid all enemies. The jumping motion and falling motions did not use gravity acceleration which to me felt odd.

ok, it is a little bit too easy to win. i had to make some enemies in the air. thank you for playing!

(i'm gonna be honestly critic about this)
gameplay: 1
- platformer... With enemies... Coins... I think that's it... I think the levels are all the same if i'm not crazy.
visuals: 2
- default game engine graphics. I stg I've seen this blue character before.
audio: 2
- music relaxed me but it's oddly fitting.
overall: 1
- not really it's just a prototype at this point you could atleast add jumping enemies, rivers or something. Nothing really challenging.
theme: 1
- didn't really fit, it's just a platformer. I know it has enemies... But you don't feel surrounded by them.

hey, we had only 3 hours time!! should i make in 3 hours a new "super mario world"?!?!?! because the time was short i had to reverse the levelmap for level 1 and 2, yes 1 and 3 are the same like 2 and 4...the graphics are very simple but nice......and you are surrounded by enemies, maybe i had to make more enemies in the air, but then the three hours were gone!!!! the blue character is from opengameart.....and before you are so hard critcizing make better games. i have played your game, its a shame!!!

I think that's the point of game jams? You could've do better next time though. I'm not absolutely destroying you I'm just giving you a much better advice to improve. And that's what critics are. I'm not telling you to fully recreate your own sm world, that's way too much, what I've told you is "at least" give some variety. Since it's only what your game is lacking.

Developer

in 3 hours i cant make much variety. i can only make the base fundament and some little things

Nice game. The music made for a very zen jumping game and I really enjoyed the snowman animation on the last level. I agree some enemies on the platforms may have added a little more challenge, there wasn't really a NEED to kill any enemies.

Developer(+1)

i could make itmore challenging, but i worked only 3 hour on it. maybe i make a remastered version sometimes.

Very wholesome, and nice relaxing music! I found it a bit easy because I could pretty much hold down the jump button and fly over the platforms and avoid all enemies. Maybe you could put some enemies on the platform to add to the challenge. But great job!

Developer

yes, you are right. in my newest platformer there are bees and birds in the higher floors. thank you for playing!

The art style is so cute and the I like this little blue guy.

Developer

yes, the graphics are simple and somehow sweet!

This was fun, although I think it would be cooler if the explosion effect wasnt locked to where it is on the screen, because it feels very out of place when you are moving fast.

Developer

thank you for playing. ok, it would be maybe better when i had to add the xoffset to the explosion

Developer

i have fixed it!

Nice Job! Killing enemies feels a lot cooler now

Developer

yes, thank you for your advice.
