Indeed it is a good score! We already updated the game to allow for arrow keys but we are waiting for the jam to be over to upload it (half of our team is lefty, we feel you).

Siiick music.
Thought the gameplay was pretty fun, could be a bit of a riff on the core mechanic in ikaruga?
Impressive content made by the team in the allotted time!

Hi, thanks! Actually it was kind of a coincidence. The person who suggested the initial idea for this one wasn't aware of Ikaruga, but some other team members were. We toyed with idea of making it more like Ikaruga including the invulnerability to the typed attacks but decided to stick with the core ideia as you saw.

Cool game! I found that sitting in the middle and spinning and spraying at the same time was the most effective strat for me hahah. I managed to score 110 :p (no idea if thats a good score but I didnt manage to beat it)

Thanks! It seems to be the optimal strategy for now. We wanted to increase the incentive to avoid hitting incorrect enemies but ran out of time. Maybe in a future update we can address that with additional mechanics. 110 is in the high side of scores, the maximum difficulty is reached around score 90.
