Really liked how you could run over people for more points. Also the audio was pretty nice and the movement for the car was pretty smooth.
I really enjoyed this game. It was very well polished for a three hour game jam. I especially liked the car's visuals and how it changed based on how many trees you'd hit. The game felt pretty smooth as well - what engine did you use to make this game?
The music was too loud, I agree with the previous commenter, but I think another issue was that the background was visually muddy to me. I also ran into some sorting issues with the blood going over the car, but I'm not sure if that's intentional or not. Great job otherwise.
Thank you for your feedback :) I used Game Maker for this game.
Yeah, I'm not really well used with the combo guitare VST + Distorsion effect (plus i'm using free cheap stuff, if someone have some recommendations that cost no money, you're welcome).
I'm not sure to understand what you are talking about when you say that the background is muddy to you, like, do you think there is a rendering issue ?
Speaking about the blood effect: it's not a sorting issue, it's intended to be that way, like some sort of HUD effect :)
Game goes hard as hell, love the soundtrack, feels good to control and the graphics are charming :D
What an epic race! Great point for the game title aha
Nice visuals, cool audio, the gameplay is simple and nice!
The music is too loud, maybe a sound slider would be good, or just making it quieter on the engine.
And I felt like there's no reason to leave the bottom of the screen, since that way you get more time to react and the humans that flee are easier to get this way.
It feels great to drive, specially for the trail you leave behind. I would just add more effects when hitting something, just for extra satisfaction.
Yeah initially I was planning to add more effects but I couldn't be focused enough to do everything ^^'
