A nice clear and simple implementation of a clever idea.  The music and sound effects made me want to chill out but the timer made me anxious =)  It would be cool with a more energetic pirate song, and maybe have a bonus countdown to go with the timer so that you get more points for going fast.

Thanks! I wanted to make a music track that fit the arcade vibe more, but didn't have the time so I just used the first best song I already had sadly.

Just came from another very similar entry, I liked the music and art, it was good that it's a bit forgiving otherwise it would be a frustrating experience. Reached 38. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! 38 is a very good score

Good work. I was able to keep playing during the "Game Over" text by the way.

Thanks! I made the game over screen when it was like 10 minutes left so I sadly didn't have time to fix it

A fun and chill vibe game:)

Definitely my favourite entry so far, I had a huge flashback to Sid Meyer’s Pirates! (well, the 2004 version anyway :). The graphics are awesome, the audio is soothing, the gameplay loop is intense and addictive. And hey, great job on scoping too!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like the pixel art as much as I do, I think it's my best work to date
