Unfortunately it was really hard for me to play because the experience was really laggy (maybe around 5fps). You should take a look at optimizing your builds.

The sound effects and music was really cool. I also liked the button pressing animation (even if I didn't have a 60fps experience)

The idea has some potential. I liked it. It's hard for me to say what could've been done more in the hours, but overall, some more variation. Once I arrived at the restaurant to drop my guy off there was another one (I'm guessing that it's supposed to be someone else) He also wanted to go the restaurant. I was like, of course I'm going to drop you off, so I pressed the button for the restaurant and somehow the elevator still moved even though I was already at the right floor. That's some interesting elevator travel.

Overall, good job! It does take a while to make games in Unreal so congrats for finishing!

Looks fun, unfortunately I generally don't download and install software from unknown sources, so I won't be able to try this one out. A bit of research suggests that UnrealEngine 4 has some Web based building capabilities but that doesn't exist with UnrealEngine 5 unfortunately. Not sure which version you used, but it might be worth looking into using the older version for Jams to have a web build. Or perhaps building it with both? I'm not really sure how that would work though as I don't use Unreal myself.

I really love the idea of determining their floor through dialog hints that's pretty unique and your wife did a great job on the music! I think it just needs those things you mentionned running out of time for, but the potential in the idea is really great so well done.

(p.s. I would generally agree with TheDedemon although I haven't seen a html from unreal so maybe that isn't supported)

Game with a lot of potential. I was expecting to move the elevator in order to get people but its okay. The fact that we have to understand the character in order to move to the good level is a good idea. Furthermore, the music fits really well with the elevator. 🛗

Ps: For jams, I will recommend you to make a game playable on the browser (html5) because its easy to test, we just need to open the page. Also, people tends to avoid download executables even if they are legit.

Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

I would have liked to do much more with the game if I had the time. I get that play in browser is best, but I'm not sure games made in unreal can be played in browser due to their size? I need to look into this more! Thanks again!

Unreal stop supporting browser games (webgl) because its not their main market. Godot, Unity, GameMaker, Construct3 and so on are better for browser games.
