I like to imagine that the protagonist is just really shy and needs the swarm to push them to be more social lol. Good job!

Control the swarm?
nonono...
The swarm controls :)

Developer(+1)

Hehe, you said that quiet nicely.

Actually at this point of the game there will be player-movement, so that you can control both protagonists (the swarm and the guy),  which also should make things a little more easy, I guess. But for the 3h time, we lacked the knowledge to figure out how this is done to a rigid-body. You think it's a good idea?
However, in the story at this point the protagonist is damn sure he controls the swarm. ;)

Hope you liked the demo ^^

What you could do is make it so by absorbing the enemies it would slow down the actual player until he is just frozen and you move him with the swarm, eventually adding abilities to the swarm as he gains more control of it and less of himself until he realizes that the potion turned him into the swarm and gave his body to the person who gave him the potion :)

Hey nice twist! Unfortunately the story is already fixed & works differently. I will say so much: it covers themes of addiction and control, so technically your ideas would be fitting too, but I think you understand that I'd prefer to stick to my own hardly crafted plot and plot-twists.

However I'm very open to your ideas regarding mechanics. I will see how they fit the story.

Powers for the swarm are a good idea... it should get some, since I feel it's a pretty cool character

Well if you aren't taking the story looks like I can claim it :)
I can just make it "legally different enough" for copyright laws to miss me >:)

Developer

Sure! I think the rights wouldn't protect you if you additionally would steal my game-mechanics, art crafted by my team, names and so on. Therefore your project or story would get wildly different from mine. So please go for it. The world needs more good stories ^^ I researched that stuff last week, because I wanted to create some "legally different enough" music of Jack White for the game. It's not simple

Congrats on the original game idea! Using "pinball" mechanics to kill enemies is quite interesting.

Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the game :)
