I love the idea ! Good work :)
Nice idea. The potato is cute! Could be a great little management game with some improvements.
thanks, i'm improving it, i'll post it after the jam ;)
RIP Headphone users. That audio is crispy and loud!
I love the time management here. I think I would want to have audio-cues for "Potato is about to burn", maybe some bigger font in general.
What I found a little bit too annoying was how the potato's maximum durations were all over the place, maybe increments of 10 (larger potato, slower moving, etc...) would allow me to get a better "Feel" for the timing; similar to playing Arena FPS games and having a sixth sense as to when the powerups would spawn.
C and S are awkward buttons to hit and would also prevent a WASD-key layout; plenty of choices there suggested from others too (ie: mouse switch).
Great work!
I like the gameplay! Really good management-sidescroller type of game. Would like a restart button and a high-score to improve it
That's a really clever concept. I managed to get 237 points. I really like how you get rewarded for managing multiple potatos in parallel.
Très sympa comme idée, bien joué !
Really cool combination! I got 289!
I also agree that mouse would be better for switching
This game is brilliant! Management and platformer merged together <3 I really like that the game is timed - this simple thing made the game challenging and competitive.
I wish I could click on a desired potato instead of switching.
thanks for your feedback :)
I'm currently improving the game for a post-jam release, mouse selection is a good idea, i may indeed switch to this instead of keyboard ;)
