REALLY GOOD! I got softlocked tho lol

Developer

Damn. Not sure if I mentioned it anywhere, but there is a pause menu that allows you to reload the level. I think escape or tab should get you there.

Glad you liked it ;)

This is absolutely awesome! The only little tweaks I can think of are super small compared to how solid the rest of it is (portals being finicky to place, cubes being hard to pick up). I had a ton of fun playing through it

Developer

Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed the puzzles.

Sorry to hear the controls were a bit buggy. Where you playing the browser or the windows version? Just curious, cause I've had problems with browser versions in other jams.

Submitted

Browser, and it was nothing too major, just had to spam the pickup button on cubes or wiggle the mouse a little to find a valid portal spot

Host

One of the most solid entries of this jam, despite some bugs (got stuck in a wall once) and stiff gameplay experience (difficulty of placing portals and picking up props). I like the puzzle mechanics you've managed to create fully around the limitation (even though the last couple of levels were quite difficult to solve).

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, it's far from perfect. The last few chambers feel a lot harder because they are not made to fit the room very well (or maybe it' s the room not fit to the puzzle?). Most of the earlier ones can be solved with pretty satisfing arrangements, while the last few feel a bit like cheating. This and the stiff gameplay experience are a result of bad time management (I spend two weekends on this, especially the last one) and a lack of play-testing (none, besides myself). I'm just happy nothing was majorly broken tbh and people seemed to be able to solve all the chambers (except for the last)!
Thanks for playing and hosting this jam!

This was really enjoyable and well made.
I still can't get familiar with the controls and the last chamber is either bugged or not supposed to be solvable
GG Well Done!

Developer

Actually both, I did not intend for it to be solveable, just a fun place to play around with, it was made in the last two hours to have some kind of end for this game.
Now it turns out you can solve the chamber, but a bug prevents the reciever from acccepting the color...
Glad you liked it, thanks for playing :)

Very cool game, but difficulty curve is too steep I think. Also couldn't open last chamber.

Developer

Thanks, absolutely agree about the difficulty. I had a hard time making hard, but satisfying puzzles without altering the room shape, emitter or receiver placement. The last chamber is not supposed to be solveable, that might not have been clear. Oh no.
Thanks for playing

But I solved it. It's just not opening, looks like a bug.

Developer(+1)

Damn, you are corrrect, I just tested it and there is a bug. Goddamn. I'm just glad non of the other chambers were affected. I will try to solve it for after the jam, but for now me being proud of you for solving the chamber has to be enough ;)

I like the idea very unique, but I had issues using the portal gun it would shot sometimes but in the exact same set up it wouldn't fire a second time, besides that really cool

Developer

Can confirm that I've had that problem as well sometimes, not sure what exactly causes it, ran out of time to investigate it. Usualy moving around a bit (even just the mouse) fixed it for me, but pretty annoying. Hope it was fun besides that, thanks for playing!
