Cool game, Jov516! I particularly liked the prepared moves for the pokemon. I found that it added a nice amount of variable impact to each mon. I think this game has a lot of potential and would benefit from such strict thematic boundaries on the design, e.g. using the mechanics to evoke the setting you described could really make it feel like a more cohesive experience.

Thankyou, I made the move system based on a game I used to play with an old friend where we used those Pokemon miniature statue things and basically made up what moves we could use. I also feel I could have made everything more cohesive and with optional rule sets that could allow a better flow to what my intentions were. I was a bit too busy to get everything I wanted done, and released what I felt was a good base to what I was thinking at the time. Overall I feel like I missed an opportunity to truly dive in. After the judgement I may continue to develop the idea further since I feel like there is more I can do with this concept.

I think this system could have potential, and I do love the concept behind it, unfortunately, I found it inaccessible to me to really understand; I think some nicer layouts, condensing of information / related information onto pages so it wasn't so much scrolling, and tone/grammar adjustments could have gone far in making it more accessible to read.  The run-on sentences were a bit tough to parse through.

That being said,  what I have managed to read through has looked promising. I honestly think it could be a cool system if formatted a bit better to parse through. - Kiwi

Yeah, this release wasn't the best optimized. I was planning to go through it a few more times to make it better, but originally was crunched for time for the original deadline. When it was moved back I kept saying to myself to give it an update and optimize, but never had the time to due to some work/school/family situations. I was happy with my overall concept being released, but this is far from it's best possible release. The ideas are far better structured in my head than on paper. It needs more polishing before I could call it finished though.

I really like this because it allows you to expand on a concept that the game and show introduce, but never actually explain much.

I feel like the ambiguity allows people to establish their own lore to make things unique and fun for the individual party. I'll feel really weird if they suddenly release something that goes into the war, but the fact that there was one really makes me think about what could have happened during that time.
