I can picture this soundtrack playing while a massive boss stumbles around trying to attack the player! The complexity across the variety of instruments/tracks creates a unique sonic experience.

When I was reflecting on the sound a pumpkin would make when approaching this jam, I had in my mind a sound that you have perfectly captured here! That low bouncy bass is exactly the sound I imagine pumpkins to have! There seems to be a reference to some of the creepy music from the original Pokemon games here with the repeated melody notes and the particular intervals you used. This definitely gives a spooky feel to it. The drums make me imagine a slow and plodding boss that is slowly chasing after you. Good work and thank you for sharing!

The arrival of the brass is great and adds a nice tension to the piece.

It's boss music, but to me it's not boss fight music, it's more like the boss theme. The kind you might hear in a cut scene.

The orchestration is very good and the percussion is top notch.

Very determined, a storm slowly brewing, loved it! I have to say I don't think it's very spooky, but SOMETHING is definitely coming. You had my attention throughout, very efficient use of your material.

One thing that is wild about this song is that I never really knew what to expect. I kept on getting surprised by what's coming next, even though I can't really explain why. I really like the sound, it's very tense! It really builds up a lot of dread and fear as it goes along.

Though to be honest, when I see the Pumpkin King I think less of the tension of dread and fear, and more something like an intense kind of horror.
