How to Play
----- Mechanics -----
The game has two phases, the day and the night.
··· Day ···
During the day you have to collect the solar rays that you are going to encounter to recharge your energy that you can then use to defend yourself.

··· Night ···
When night comes the monsters appear that will come after you if they see you. You can sprint to escape faster or fire a flash of light that knocks back enemies.

But beware! At night your energy runs out little by little, so you have to find your parents before it runs out completely. And it will wear out faster if you use your skills.

The amount of stamina is reflected in the light emitted by the mushroom.

----- Controls -----

Wow, this was amazing - it looked and sounded great! Well done!

I couldn't find my parents though... It just seemed like stamina ran out way too fast. I would've preferred a little meter showing it - as it wasn't clear from just the light level - the game over was very abrupt and unexpected. I guess we have the Clear View diversifier to thank for that...

Thank you for playing our game! :) And yep, it's because of the Clear View diversifier that we didn't use any metter on screen.

We are sad that you din't find your parents but we encourage you to try it again if you want!

So little time, so many games left to review... I'll try to come back after the deadline if there is time. :-)

This game looks and feels very immersive!
I'm not entrierly sure what the sun-orbs did and I stumbled across the end by accident a bit, so a bit more direction might help, but that is though to nail in jam games =)

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. The sun-orbs were your stamina and in the night it consumes constantly. Also, if you run with Shift or use the light attack with the left mouse click it consumes stamina. This is explained in How to play - Controls in the description. Take another look if you have time and check what happens if you run out of stamina! :)

Ah, I found the sprint feature but totally missed the light attack, so I'll definitly will try that one out again =)

Nice!

The visuals are just fantastic! I feel the game is on the right path and would be amazing with some narrative and more motive drivers for the gameplay. Congratz on the game!

Cool Game Concept! There's a lot of scope for a deep narrative and lore here.
Also I never imagined I would play as a mushroom.

The lighting in the game was spot-on! Excellent work on that.

However the game lagged a lot on my system so I couldn't play it to it's full extent to be frank.
Kudos!

Hey! Thank u very much! Unfortunately, it was our first game working with Unreal Engine. We are working on optimization to fix that! Btw, your game was awesome.
