Great artstyle & artistic vision.

Though the game was quite short and the fun parts for me (combat) were a bit too few.

Would love to see this when developed further or when given some more time.

Hey Thank you !
I will definitely develop it further, making the story deeper, the levels longer, and so on.

Loved the combat in the game felt very engaging after I figured out how to use the roll. The art was stunning and altogether it was hard to believe this was made in just 10 days for a gamejam.

Thank you very much. I didn’t do the art work. The artwork is from Penusbmic. He is an artist on itch.

But I did all the level design and programming stuff, such as enemy behavior, story telling and more. Unfortunately the end level underground is broken somehow. I decided for the jam to not fix it. Would be unfair… I suppose. But I will work on it after the jam. Make the environment better and sorry telling deeper.   Add boss fights and more (:

Extreme ambition for a one-week jam! And it paid off! Admittedly, throughout the whole thing I was think "there's no way this was made in only a week..." But then it ended so quickly, and I understood how. I wish there were more but I cannot deny the polish that went into this introduction. There was clearly much thought put into the world and characters, not to mention the gorgeous art!

I do have a few criticisms to offer, if you're interested:

  • The main character's motion felt a little bit floaty. I think I would've preferred if you implemented a stick deadzone and perhaps made the acceleration a bit snappier.
  • I don't know if this was just WebGL being stupid, but the menus didn't work on controller, only mouse. Considering you said the preferred way to play was with a controller, this is an (admittedly minor) issue.
  • I died, and after reloading the checkpoint the background completely disappeared and was replaced with the default Unity blue background. Also, my health and stamina UI disappeared.

Thanks a lot for your submission. This was a really great one.

Thank you! And thank you for the feedback.

  • Normally it should go into the downworld, I heard that you go into the main menu after the elevator scene.
Normally you fight a boss and the story progresses. Have to check the SceneLoad, but I'm not sure if this is considered a bugg or just my problem.
  • I'm gonna work on the movement a bit. Spend most of the time on the controlling
  • WebGL has a lot of strange problems. On dekstop the main menu works as intendet. I'm gonna check this out. There is also a problem with the UI Sound. Had to turn it off.
  • Do you remeber on which checkpoint?

Thanks for letting me know!

The art is from penusbmic check him out :)!

Yes, I died in the second fight against the shadow creatures.

there is normally one more after the elevator (Boss). But I decided to not add / fix it. That would be unfair. I don’t consider a big error or wrong scene call as a bugg. Haha
