  • This was a fun entry. The dialogue's were entertaining and I enjoyed forging the blades. I see the vision, but found that it played rather clunky in simulator (no points knocked for that). It worked great when using the device as a controller. The part that I found frustrating and not fun was when doing the grinding/polishing step. I couldn't recall on the 2nd/3rd blade what it was supposed to look like/be polished to and so I scored poorly which was not fun. This has great potential and I would love to see it expanded with a sort of customer + compensation based on how well you did to expand and run the forge. I hope that this makes it to a full release!

Very cool game! It took me a minute to realize how to play, but I really liked the hammering especially! It was satisfying when I had a 'perfect' attempt. I could see how the animations could be a bit smoother to really bring everything together, but the concept is fantastic!

  • Nice intro with story and visuals
  • Generally really nice detailed graphics
  • Good control explainations
  • Nice result screen
  • Talking sfx doesn't fit IMO, a bit to much of a typing vide, these are gods so sfx should reflect that in contrast to the human
  • I like the three crafting stages, but they don't feel that smooth yet. I'm personally not really a fan of accelorermeters in games, it distracts from looking normall at the screen. There was some time when it was done on the mobile, but I don't think it really stayed as an input for games.
    • I think the crank could be used the interactions equally as good. Moving the metal around with the crank, change the temperature with the d-pad
    • Hammering with the tilting the playdate? Not for me xD It's awkward. Also I wanted the hammer to be animated :)
  • Pretty neat game, congratz! I'd love to see a bit more polished version on catalog!

I really enjoyed the intro, it was a nice touch. However, the continuous dialogue sound can become overwhelming. The levels with multiple commands provide an interesting challenge, but the anvil part doesn’t work properly and the grinding wheel takes too long. Additionally, when I get a new sword, I start with the stars from the previous one. Lastly, if I press "B" while the instructions are on the screen, they keep appearing until I restart. Despite that, I  think I would buy a fixed version!

Very cool idea!  I'm not sure why but I wasn't able to get it to work- it seemed like it wasn't getting my crank input (unless I was doing something wrong).  Still, very cool idea for a minigame collection, I wish I was able to play it properly!
