My game was half a way complete until I came to know about Unexpected Jam. My game was not intended to be submitted to the Unexpected Jam , but as my game is kind of unexpected , I thought to give it a try. I wasn't it intentionally for the Unexpected Jam. I was making all the assets except the player that was taken from an asset pack from UNITY ASSET STORE and also some of the scripts was also done before the jam started.

I am a complete beginner to game development and I am still struggling to figure out the Untrusted Developer problem , so If you get a message saying that this app maybe a potential risk or it is from an Untrusted Developer then simply allow it as there are no viruses at all.
Also don't blindly follow the instructions given by the game. Use your intelligence.

Oh boy, where do I start...
Platforming games needs solid and precise controls. I don't like even a little bit of the gameplay. On the contrary, I must say that I hated it, because I was raging so hard at the second level.
The good: The player model and the graphics were good. The audio is ok.
The bad: Everything else.
The controls are so bad. When I jumped while walking it jumps lower than when standing still. Sometimes the jump goes high, sometimes he doesn't even jump. I noticed that when the body parts of the player are glitched inside him, he jumped higher (probably some physics bug).
The level design is very bad too. A lot of times I just died without knowing why. The camera is too close to the player, I couldn't even see the platforms that I wanted to reach. The enemies spawning over the player, the areas where the player just died without warning, the moving platform physics, I was so angry at the end that I didn't even care about the story.
This was supposed to be unexpected, not random, rage inducing and frustrating.
Sorry for your bad experience. Is m trying to improve. This was my first game and I just knew nothing about game development. I have added some more indications and fixed a lot bugs including the jump one and fixing more. Soon the update will be out. Sorry that you had a bad experience , I am just a complete beginner. But still I will try to improve the experience of everyone. Also I have changed the story a lil bit and planned to add some more levels , indications , check points and saving systems so that the game doesn't seem like some random things are put together. I appreciate your comment and will be glad to know your thoughts after the update.

I'm sorry if I was harsh. I written after finishing the game, while I was angry. I do think that the game has a lot of flaws, but for your first game it really was good. I hope that you take my feedback and build upon it, get better and then have success with your next games!

Well , it's not polished , and camera needs a lot of work. This is my first game and I am not updating the game because moderators might think that even after the jam is over , I updated my gane and will disqualify it. And thanks for playing and rating.

I didn't knew that we are allowed. I saw in another jam that they disqualified entries that were updated during voting process.
Yeah this jam is uncommon that way. Most of the Jams are locked for updates while voting.
The idea is good, and it definitely fits the theme, but it is not that fun. I love the idea though, so it would be cool to see this expanded on with a few changes :)
Honestly , I wasn't making this game intentionally do the Unexpected Jam. I just came to know about it a day before it started. But I thought that my game is aslo kind of unexpected so I just submitted it here. Literally , I was very depressed , I had lost all my hopes from this game. I had to make it more longer , add checkpoints , add many more difficulties , but I thought that it is a trasha nd no one is gonna play it. But as I got a lot of positive comments , I was overwhelmed. I decided to add all of those things that I dropped and make this game completed and polished , but my PC , after a windows 10 update , ran into some problem and is just showing BSOD as just I unlock it. Nevermind , even when the jam is over , I will complete the game. Thanks for your comment. :-)
Id seen this played in streams looked interesting I gave the Android version a go and I enjoyed it. It's tricky but quite fun

I will be glad to play that , but my PC is giving BSOD , just as I unlock it. Once it's fixed , I'll surely play your game and reply you. If you can upload an Android version of it , then I'll play right now.
I don't know, It was really hard and fun but it definitely switched to frustrating really fast... I got passed the tutorial but not the next level. I had fun with the mechanics but I died a LOT for seemingly no reason. It kind of took a turn for the worse in playability.
I would maybe revisit this later but I'm done for now!

Glad to know that you loved it. Just remember that the villian , Mendax , lies a lot , and you are in his prison. So you will find the sign of lies literally everywhere. You have to figure it out whether to follow it or not. I just wanted it to be a bit rage game and so it is.
But when lies everywhere is too much everywhere? You must try to catch just the right amount of everything an not put random killzones in game (or at least visualize them)
Gsme is good, but still needs some polish. Then it will be perfect.
I know that it is far from perfect , but as it is my first game , I see this as an absolute win. Also , I was adding some particles effects and many more things but suddenly BSOD appeared and I am unable to turn my PC on. If it's fixed , I'll add some more features. BTW , thanx.

Hey. I made a video about the Unexpected Jam and decided to include your game into the video. I like it. It felt very difficult at first. however, I finished the game. I did not react quick enough to finish the boss tho. If you want me to cut your game out of the video, let me know. Well , thanx for the compliments , I am a complete beginner and this is my first game , I was just putting different stuff together with some foolish story , and just got it made.
