I got the hang of it after a few tries - I like the feedback when you hit, that feels good. I think pulling out the camera would work well for this game - or adding a dodge effect could be fun? Either way, it was a cool idea just a bit fast, I think.
Thank you.
I made a video with your game a while back, definitely some unexpectedness when clicking the page for the first time. Got me in the first half not gonna lie.
Thank you.
took me a while to figure out, reminds me that ultra casual mobile games, my record is 12
Nice record, thank you for playing my game.
The idea is well thought, but the learning curve is pretty high at the beginning if you don't notice the instructions, which are right there. The problem is that you have to read them but are forced to lose a few times until you get it, or just read them from your website.
Once you get over that, it's surprisingly challenging and entertaining.
Sure, nice suggestion.
The idea is simple and fun. But for me the game was way too fast.
Thank you for the suggestion, will keep that in mind.
Quick simple fun cool music
Thank you.
Funny little concept, but my reaction time is awful. Some clearer instruction would be helpful, and it almost doesn't make sense to read the description after playing. Maybe something just like "Match your inputs to the shape" if you don't wanna spoil the unexpected parts haha
Nice idea, thank you for the suggestion.
I feel like you asked us to read the instructions after the game for no reason! I figured it out pretty quicklike but I was a little confused. Pretty decent game, very quick reaction time needed for some of the foods. I also could continue playing even if I lost... I dunno if there's anything more to it than that...
Great work!
Yup, I will add instructions in my future games.
I actually really like the concept, But the execution could've been a bit better, I didn't know that their we're instructions at the bottom of the page, so I played it and died instantaneously not knowing what I did wrong, I feel like if you implemented the instructions into the game than it would've been a bit better. Other than that I like it and I think it's a good little fun time waster, but it's not something that I'd find Myself coming back to often. Good job though!
Sure nice idea, I would definitely implement the instructions in the game, in the future. Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciated.
Is this supossed to be food fight or anything else? (game in the video doesnt match with actual game...)
EDIT:
Ah yes, unexpected jam...
Yup, that is right.
Great game! It is actually really fun
I like the cute art, and how game isn't hard to learn but is fun. It is actually quite hard which makes it nice and challenging!
Only one problem, but it is a simple fix. The sound for when you hit something is quite loud, even when I turned down the volume. Hope this helps!
Apart from this, the game is great. Good job!
Sure, thank you very much. I will try to find time to make the changes.
Yup, I have fixed it, try it now please :)
The sound is just right. Thank you for changing it! Btw i really like the music
No problem.
Hey. I made a video about the Unexpected Jam and decided to include your game into the video. I love it. My record is 17. If you want me to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make videos for such developers like you every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing your game, and I am looking forward to playing more of them.
Thank you so much, I am really honoured. Yes, you can use it for your video, just remember to put a link to the game😁😁😁.
By the way, I wrote some instructions on how to play the game. I had to put it at the bottom of the game page, so that everyone will get shocked when they start playing the game and need some instructions.
Thank you so much again, and I have already subscribed to your channel😁
