Nice game! I like the art style and the concept is very cool and relevant to the theme (: I had lots of fun playing it!
The only problem is that the game starts off too hard. You should try to make your game start off easy and then get harder and harder.
Overall a great game! Nice job :D
Un principe très simple pour un jeu très simple.
Très simple mais surtout très fun !
It was pretty difficult but I beat it, you end up getting used to the controls after a dozen tries. Definitely start out the game with easier levels working up to harder ones. It was fun and it definitely fit the theme. I liked the art and the sound effects. Your use of the forward/backwards platforms were a nice touch that added complexity instead of just jumping over obstacles to get to the end. Well done!
Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! Glad you were able to get to the end, but absolutely - this level wasn't meant to be the only/first level, but because of the structure I'd used when composing my game I found it difficult to add additional levels, which was disappointing! But - I've learned for future projects, which I guess is what these game jams are all about! :)
Lots of great ideas and polish in this one, well done!
Thank you so much, and thanks for playing!
Cool game, sometimes harsh with hitboxes : P.
Thanks for playing! Definitely the general consensus is that the hitboxes were a little unfair, would change them if I were to revisit! :)
Funny Game. I Love It.
Thanks so much for playing!
Fun little game, could defiantly be extended with some new levels into a full game. Make sure the resolution you set in unity and in itch.io are the same as the game was smaller than the space it has on the website which is a little off putting. I think a agree with others that the hit boxes could be a bit smaller to make it a little easier. Overall a very good first level for a game.
Thanks so much for playing, and for your feedback! Ideally, I'd have liked to do more introductory levels before this one, but I ran out of time after building what I had so thought I may as well just run with it :) I thought I did set the resolution up correctly so I'll have to see what happened if it's displaying strangely... I have just realised that putting it into fullscreen means that you can see some of the un-textured background which isn't ideal, definitely didn't think of that!
Cool Game Idea but the controls were not as clear
Thanks for playing and for your feedback, do you mind me asking which controls you found unclear? Would be good to know for future projects! :)
Nice mechanic, though it was pretty easy to beat for me. I like that the camera switches when you press Space, but I was was trying to jump with Space a couple of times which killed me :D
Some points to improve (IMHO):
Overall great work! Thank you!
Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback, guess I'll have to try and make it a little harder in the future then! Agree with all of those points, the death sound wasn't set to loop, although I did notice that if you get stuck on a moving saw it plays it a few times, but sadly didn't have time to do much about it! Thanks again :)
Great game, the moving saw obstacle felt a bit to difficult to jump over, maybe get the collider a bit smaller than the object itself because sometimes it feels i didnt touch it even though i died. but great game overall
Thanks for playing and for your feedback, would definitely revisit the saw collision box again if I were to develop this further, because there's nothing more frustrating than seemingly clearing an obstacle but still dying!
I keep underestimating how far away the saws move but that’s my fault, game is 11/10
I did contemplate adding like, a visible track so that you could see the width that they travelled, but then I thought that might be a bit too easy, and I kind of liked the panic of having to nudge the other robot forward whilst trying to control the other. Thanks for playing, and for your feedback!
Good game :) Hard to save both robots, though. If you one day improve the game maybe you could add 3 loops, same length and interchangeable, so that the music could grow in tension as the big wall is getting closer to any of the robots. Just a suggestion :) Congratulations for the game and good luck!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback - that's definitely something I'd love to implement if I revisit the game, as I know that sometimes you can be controlling one of the robots and perhaps not remember about the impending death coming to the one left behind... Would serve as a gentle/not so gentle reminder! :)
a good one
Thank you!
