Beautiful and relaxing game with an interesting concept. I love that it is tricky at first but then when you figure out the balance of movement it all makes sense :)

I really like the smooth mechanics and the one style (like china and japan) which you stayed with.  Same with the music and I love the idea of getting together and the places where you can/can't stay in :) , really nice game. In my opinion you should add much more levels and tutorial and publish it somewhere on like newgrounds, addicted games or something like that, because I really believe that the idea of this game is really fun and good to play :)

Developer

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I didn’t know about these! Started working on the post-jam update to add more levels and manage the difficulty curve a bit better. =) glad you enjoyed playing it!

Nice graphic and mechanics!

Submitted

The movement is very sensitive.

Submitted(+1)

The movement was very hard, but the music and concept where both very nice!

Submitted(+1)

Wow, the graphics and the music are simple but cool. The gameplay is very enjoyable. The idea and the link with "two" are cool. Really loved it !

Good execution of mechanic.  The gong sound was perfect.

A very unique experience ! Glad to have found it, especially on a game jam :D. The bounciness of the ball is a little hard to manipulate, but as a positive point ! This add a fun complexity to the game !

one the most unique games i have seen in this jam so far. the music really fits the theme. really great game

Hey this is one of the best games I've seen so far. I've really enjoyed playing it. I see that you've used a lot of assets, but you were able to use them right!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool idea! Nice music and sound, well done! :D

Nice-looking game with great music!

i like the concept! nice work 👏

I really like the concept! The web version was a little laggy for me which made the controls more frustrating :(. Also there was a bug for me in the level with the windowed box, the circle filled up to just barely done and stopped without completing the level :(

It looks really cool though, and I'd love to play more! I'm guessing the lag is more to do with the browser than your game, and would be fixed with a downloadable version (after the jam is over of course) :)

Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it! I’ll add both points to the post-jam update list. =) thanks for playing!

It has amazing polish and great visuals. Also great concept

Fun and interesting concept, and polished execution! Initially I tried to go fast and things were too chaotic, but then I slowed down and only made short, methodical movements, and it became a lot easier (probably an allegory in there...).

Anyway, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the nice words, really appreciate it!
(whoops, busted... ;) )

This was one of the most polished games I've seen yet! The gameplay was fun, and the puzzles were interesting. My only issue is the characters were a little frustrating to control, and I think it would've felt better if they were a little less bouncy, but I still played the whole game and had a lot of fun!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback, appreciate it! I’ll keep it in mind for the update. =)

Oh hello, fellow puzzle-with-light-mechanics jammer! :D

It has a Nice Ying-yang atmosphere. Controls and light mechanics feel kinda like juggling (so many things happening at once).Just need to find a balance.

A shame there is not a hidden wall mechanic. :D

Developer

Thanks a lot, appreciate the feedback!! Funny about the hidden wall request (really well implemented in yours!) as I had it in before a total redesign due to a necessary change in art direction after feedback from testers Saturday evening. I had to cut the feature, as trying to implement it would have taken too long! Game jam challenges haha. =)

Oh boy, this was fun. It's a very interesting concept, and the game itself looks good, but it kind of comes down to the controls, they can be very irritating at times just because of the driftiness of everything. Also, it took me a while to understand the grey and white blocks because the light seemed glitchy when passing through. Fun game!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! I couldn't figure out why the URP's 2d experimental lights caused that glitch, spent a lot of time trying to solve this without avail unfortunately. Oh well, game jams, amirite? Regarding the controls i wanted them drifty on purpose, I didn't want the player to be able to not move one or the other, to represent that constant flow as per the theme elected. You're right though, some additional tweaking of the parameters would be good! Thanks again for your feedback, appreciate it!

Yeah, but what i mostly meant with the floaty controls, was the dang platform level, that felt near impossible. But still it turned out pretty great!

Developer(+1)

Gotcha! Tbh, that used to be my 10th level before I scratched half of the game after a change in art direction. Definitely needs more levels to ease the play towards it. Thanks again for your comment! =)
