Love the game, cute art! I really like the idea, these types of games are really fun, and can be addicting!
Very cute game! I liked the different mechanics as well. The game probably would have benefited from some extra VFX and SFX to give it a bit more oomph.
But overall, nice job!
This is a great concept, just needs some refinement. The UI issues almost prevented me from playing until I figured out workarounds. I like that some attacks have different ranges, effects, and piercing(?). I also like the combining, but I wasn't super sure of all the effects that combining characters had other than additional health.
Solid premise, but there's very little strategic depth as I could usually just level up all my characters and blindly upgrade whatever and still win comfortably every time.
There's some mouse detection issues with the UI which does put a damper on the experience, and when I didn't have enough coffee to buy an upgrade I also mistook that for a UI issue since that was not communicated clearly enough.
With some more thought given to difficulty scaling and strategy, this could be a lot of fun!
Cute! Sound effects would help, I usually don't have time for them either TT_TT. You already know about the UI issues. More effects on the attacks? Help make things pop a little more, add clouds for toxic for instance. Maybe a specific effect/sound cue when an attack gets reduced by armour. Readability stuff.
