The movement felt a bit still and delayed, if you add sound effects and maybe particle effects, other than that its a good game.
Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll increase the acceleration stat for an updated version. It does have sound effects for jumping, deaths, pickups and level completion
I see, for some reason I couldn't hear them..maybe my volume was too low.
excellent idea for a game, and with a bit of polish i could see this becoming an excelent game
the movement felt a bit delayed , both starting and stopping was slow, and that made some of the platforming a bit tricky, but other than that it was excelent.
Nice game, love what you did with the platforms and the collectables :-)
I would really appreciate if you will rank my game too https://itch.io/jam/vimjam/rate/767226
The controls are a bit hard to get used to but I eventually got it. The wall jumping is nice. I like the idea of the level turning upside. I didn't notice it at first though. Maybe some animation of a rotating level could be nice. Overall it's a challenging but fun game
Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Haha, the level doesn't turn upside down exactly, all the remaining collectables become the new platforms and the platforms become new collectables. It seems I should have found a way to make that more clear though if it was confusing.
Oh, that changes everything! Gotta play again. But yeah, it's definitely not apparent enought
i think you have the start of something really good here. the wall jumping felt pretty natural and i even noticed in levels it wasnt supposed to be used. but the first level it was required to beat the level was way to hard. but i think you have the start of a pretty decent platformer.
Thanks for playing, glad you liked the movement mechanics. Thanks for the feedback as well, it's gets hard to judge whether things are too hard when you've got so used to it while making it.
