Very good technical implementation, it feels very smooth to play! Like said below I would wished for checkpoints too as it felt very punishing to die, very good job overall anyway ;)

Charming little game, I can see you were influenced by Celeste. Definitely could use some checkpoints but I like how you introduced each mechanic and the character feels great to control. Well done!

Very difficult and quite similar to Celeste. The movement feels so good in every aspect! Although after that I don't see any connection to 'There and Back' yet. Some of the level design is a obviously bit rushed because it can be very vague what you're supposed to do to progress to the next section, especially after the introduction of the dash. It increases the difficulty very fast and checkpoints would be nice as well.

Thank you for the feedback and i do agree with what you said. As for the theme I was originally gonna have objects you find unlock your abilities like dashing and double jump etc.  that way the player would have to explore the map and come back to areas they couldn't reach before to collect the pocky. I spend a lot of time on the player movement to make it feel good however due to this I ran out of time to implement everything i mentioned above and I didn't want to waste the work i did so I submitted what I had.

I don't understand why he has so few votes. It's a nice game with a simple but effective dynamic. I like music and sounds. Maybe a bit difficult, I don't have enough patience: D

Hi! loved the idea!

It was hard for me, because i don't have any motor ability, but it was very fun and engaging!
