Really cool game, I just think that the movement is a little bit floaty but other than that this is a solid game.

Hello, fellow space game.  haha.  Love the art and physics feel good.  Really great use of multi-use!

Beautiful looking game! At first it was difficult to know if there are enemies just out of view, but the little arrows next to the player really help.

It's genuinely unbelievable that you made this solo in a week, and that's awesome! This is tremendous in all aspects of game design for a jam game, really incredible job. The art and game feel in particular are stellar. The way you managed tutorials and HUD UI are also really clean. Can't wait to see what else you make!

This was an amazing submission the audio was amazing for example shoot and the background track. The menu sounds were also very nice. The only bit of feedback is I didn't really know how to get energy for a bit.  Great submission well done. :D

This game has extremely consistent art for a game jam, it looks incredible.

A pure yet difficult game concept. The art reflects this clarity of concept well. the sun felt like quite a large obstacle rather than a resource as it could not be shot through. Considering the point is to shoot the sun perhaps starting with a bit more energy would help start off the game without compromising the key concept. Regardless a tight little entry.

A pretty nice little game! I quite enjoyed the variety of enemies and power ups and it was generally pretty clear what was going on, was easy to slip into a flow state. The tutorial in the beginning was very nice with its bespoke art.

I will say I didn't find much use in the shielded dash, the one use case I thought it would be best suited for (the homing projectiles) it didn't help. The sun is too big to dash through one side of it to the other without getting hurt, and the meteors come in a little too fast to dash out of their way, but I can chalk that up to a skill issue on my end.

I do think there could be more feedback to when the player takes damage, it took me a few tries to realize that the sun and meteors could damage you.

Also it seemed odd there was no timer or score for the player to reflect on when they got a game over. It felt missing giving the genre.

Really liked the backing music!
