This was seriously the most beautiful game of the jam. Managing to get a good story with a fun world all with stunning visuals, animation, and sound is really incredible. This is an awesome game, one of my favorites from this jam for sure!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the pretzel crosshair, that was my favorite little detail.
- i really wanted to do my own UI, but ran out of time. That and particles were the things that got cut for time.
- yeah dunno what happened with the volume sliders lol
- they spawn in one of three locations randomly
- 10 is definitely pretty long yeah
- yeah, the melody is so repetitive
- you can knead the dough up to 9 times to get 3 different guns, and it cycles back through them!
Thanks for the feedback! :)
It's genuinely unbelievable that you made this solo in a week, and that's awesome! This is tremendous in all aspects of game design for a jam game, really incredible job. The art and game feel in particular are stellar. The way you managed tutorials and HUD UI are also really clean. Can't wait to see what else you make!
Always nice to see a fellow FMOD user! Cool game, I really love the fact that the soundtrack generates itself overtime, but with all the saxophone imagery I was hoping to hear some sax! I think adding small animations for the player and the asteroids would go a long way.
Very nice presentation overall!
Got over 10000 points! Really fun game idea, and I love a good theme name pun. I like the endless mode for the jam version, but I think a level mode would really make the game shine if you wanted to finish it. Great energy on the song for when aphids are attacking! Nice work, definitely worthy of high ratings!
That was awesome! Great thematically, excellent polish, solid art and sound, and even great comedic timing. It left me wanting more, which is perfect for a game jam! I especially thought your use of the theme was perfect. This was really really solid, definitely one of my favorites from this jam. Other people have already mentioned what I would recommend for the game, so no notes from me! Great work! :)
The presentation is really stunning, with a ton of visual polish; unbelievable for a game jam! I think the biggest thing you could improve on is music. The melodic plucky synth became grating to the ear really quickly just because it wasn't tonally centered or memorable, and picking a key and staying inside it is a surefire way to avoid this. Not saying the music has to be catchy, but if you're going to use mostly one chord throughout the song has to be carried by some other musical aspect. That could be a strong melody, cool sound design, interesting layering, or many other things. I can tell you've got potential for good songwriting, please keep making more music!
