SPAAAAACE!
If you aimed for a arcade feeling then you hit it well. Definitely pretty hard but fun.
Personally I would had preferred an auto-shooting mode because using right-click felt a bit too much for a bloody casual like me. Then it might even work on mobile platforms.
Good visuals and sounds. Absolute solid game.
Very difficult! I can see this being a lot of fun though. Having 2 weapons instead of 3 to switch through might have helped, I often selected the hyperdrive when meaning to switch to one of the others, so I died a lot :( Otherwise it feels like a pretty complete game with lots of potential.
The gameplay was very fresh and unique every run, I had a hard time at first but then started blasting through, although the difficulty curve is definitely high. I really think a roguelite progression system inbetween runs could add to the game and make it easier for people who can't beat it on their first runs. All and all a really awesome game.
Love the art style.
Dying after one hit is very punishing, especially because I have to constantly flip the mouse back and forth from pointing towards the enemies to shoot and pointing to the side to dodge.
Thanks! You're 100% right about the difficulty, it was one of those jams where I got too good at my own game neglected balance somewhat
